What is a Media Access Bureaux?
There are currently 17 MABs located at easily accessible venues across the North from Scarborough to Lancaster.
The MAB is a studio in the venue which is packed with industry standard kit which you can use to store, edit, transfer, ingest and download files.
Plus, you can access the NorthernNet network and transfer any type of media at a speed of up to 1GB
So from a MAB you can distribute files via NorthernNet out into the world! E.g. from a MAB in Sheffield, to a studio in LA – so you can work in real time at real speed.
You can book a MAB online and pay by the hour or through one of our other packages.
MABs give freelancers and SMEs across the North local access to high speed connectivity and the kit to offer clients a greater service and stand a better chance of winning new ones.
